Imagine being Archie’s Dad… the daily hijinks you have to endure! I always felt Mr. Weatherbee deserved a lot of what he got, but Fred Andrews usually means well (even if he does jump the gun and assume a lot)…

Was Wilbur ever popular? It seems like they tried to get this character going for a long time and never managed to get it past the ‘looks a lot like Archie’ phase. Even down to the same style of Archie pants!

Katy Keene DID have a following and remain pretty popular for years… She had her own comic in the Archie line-up that lasted for ten years, eventually ending in 1961.
