    LAUGH COMICS #67

A Rare Issue that's never been reprinted!

(Laugh Comics #67  cover-dated February 1955, on newsstands December 15th, 1954, with cover art unknown, but my guess is Bill Vigoda)

There's a point at the beginning of an Archie story, where you KNOW things are just not going to end up right! And here's one with someone you don't see a lot of... Veronica's Mom!

This story, as far as I can gather, has never been reprinted!

And they play it up at a different angle as well. SHE wants to drive!

Jughead Open Eyes Alert! Keep in mind that generally, Jughead with his eyes open, usually denotes him seeing something and being astounded/scared/surprised, etc.

Another that I don't think has ever been reprinted...

...there are exceptions though...

Twice in the same book,

and twice in the same story!

Another that I don't think has ever been reprinted

I don't spend much time on Debby stories in the book, but this one I found amusing, at least in the premise.

Debby's dad smokes' cigars, making Debby and her Mom uncomfortable. So Debbie buys him an 'exploding cigar' in hopes that it'll make him quit!

Another that I don't think has ever been reprinted!

Of course her Dad ends up giving one to a client he has over for dinner!

(I say the payoff here could've been funnier...)

Same with Katy Keene... I don't usually spend much time on it, but... I like how they promote Archie Comics in this one!

Even before the Japanese took over the American Car Market, Reggie was buying Foreign Made cars! Hey, I thought this was an All-American Comic!*

*It's a gag. Let's leave politics out of this!

Another that I don't think has ever been reprinted! What'd they throw these stories out?

And my favorite of the book - which I don't believe has ever been reprinted - which is a shame as I think it is CLASSIC Archie:

Never reprinted? That's a shame!
