As perfect of a 'clean' 1950's comic book cover as you could ever ask for.
Yuck!
Just Kidding! As much as I love the decadent low brow comedy and violence and sexuality of many of the covers of the Golden Age of Comics, I ALSO have a great appreciation for the ROMANCE of many of these covers.
And this one is a perfect example of clean and wholeso... wait a minute... what's that phallic looking thing aimed right at Veronica's... Oh my god!!!

This is America in the 50's dog gone it, and none of the sexual stuff is allowed!
Violence towards each other though... that's a different story. That's normal and wholesome!
