GINGER's First Appearance
ZIP COMICS #35
(On Newsstands in December 26th, 1942)

Now as we do these issues of Ginger (featuring some of my favorite Archie Comics art of the time), some of you may be saying, "Who the heck is Ginger?"
Well, she was actually created 10 years earlier in Zip Comics #35 (released the day after Christmas 1942, a month after Archie Comics #1!) and drawn by Harry Sahle. She was meant to be a red-headed female alternative to Archie Andrews. She has her own little following of fans, and below I have reprinted the very first appearance of Ginger for your enjoyment!

  1. I can proudly say that I'm one of Ms. Snapp's biggest followers. She's just so underuse that it's a shame.
